SECTION 1: FOUNDATIONAL SUSTAINABILITY CONCEPTS

  • Identify and list the supply chain processes according to the

  • Describe United Nations (UN) Global Compact guidelines
  • Understand the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)and its relation to supply chains
  • Identify and list compliance requirements and trends
  • Utilize the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards
  • List other social, environmental, safety, and quality accreditations
    and certi¬fications
  • Understand the concept of green gas emission reporting
    and management

  • Understand the correlation between the ASCM Enterprise Certification standards with the SDGs and GRI frameworks for sustainability reporting.
  • Apply the ASCM sustainability standard for supply chain sustainability self-assessment.
  • Identify Supply Chain initiatives and projects to address low maturity scores in the supply chain sustainability self-assessment
